- Administrative Volunteer
Provide support in one of the various areas of the organization.
You can work in any of the following areas:
- Front Desk
- Programs
- Marketing
- Fundraising
We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of 2-4 hours weekly.
- Community Outreach
Support our community outreach efforts all around the Southside of Chicago. As a growing organization we are looking to expand our visibility in the community, and we do this through both canvassing and street art workshops. This opportunity is reserved for days with good weather.
Commit to attending 1-2 events monthly.
- Garden Volunteer
Support our Artist’s Garden, located just a few blocks from our building. Each summer SkyART and community members sign up to tend a plot and grow their own fruits, vegetables and herbs. Volunteers support gardening efforts for SkyART, with weeding, gardening, and general tending of the garden.
Other Volunteer Opportunities:

- Skills-based volunteering (marketing, tech, strategy, other consulting)
