Thank you to all those who attended SkyART’s annual I ♥ ART fundraiser at the Stony Island Arts Bank. For those unable to attend, we want you to know it was a huge success! SkyART friends, family, and supporters rallied and we surpassed our goal, raising over $77,000. That means….we’re getting a van! Some of our youth and would-be participants live just a few blocks away, but haven’t been afforded safe passage from home or school to SkyART. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, SkyART will be purchasing a van that will allow us to alleviate the transportation roadblock that effects so many of our young people. This is a serious game changer for the future of SkyART and our youth! Thanks to all who supported and to those who haven’t yet, it’s not too late. You can still contribute to our van initiative by supporting ongoing maintenance and upkeep. It doesn’t stop here. Its only just begun…
